All Topo Maps: Updated Map
Revisions
Igage continuously scans new and updated maps as
they are produced [
How
AllTopo Maps are Made ]. New maps are available by DVD
distribution and automated internet download to existing All Topo
Map V7 customers. Both older and newer maps are included with All
Topo Maps because some map uses are enhanced by older maps, or the
comparison of older maps with newer maps.
Once downloaded, new maps become part of your map
set and are stored on your hard drive. You can inspect the full
lists of maps included with All Topo map sets [
here. ]
Every All Topo V7 Full Map set includes 12 months
of internet updates. Additional subscriptions may be purchased for
$25 per year.
The following links will display lists of updated

Map Revision Example
There are thousands of maps in the
All Topo collection that have multiple revisions of quadrangles
included in the distribution media.
The All Topo Maps V7 Pro Utah
map set includes four revisions of the 'Clay Basin, UT WY'
quadrangle that straddles the Utah-Wyoming border. The oldest map in
the All Topo collection is a 1952 edition (this 1952 edition is the
latest map in several of our competitor's products):

There are also two Forest Service
Single Edition (FSSE) revisions that were acquired through digital
source. One has no vegetation layer, the other has the National
Vegetation Index overlaid. FSSE maps are included because we receive
digital copies years before new paper maps are printed. Often there
are significant changes from the FSSE digital masters to the printed
paper maps:

Finally there is a scan of the 2001
release of the 1996 dated paper map:

2008 DVD AllTopo edition. A new revision of this map (the 2008
edition) was released in March 2009 and is available from the All
Topo Map server.
