We only sell GIS and Survey
grade GPS instruments. We know how these receivers work and
can knowledgably support your application and equipment
questions. Our purchase price includes support (expert
training is available at an additional charge).
We inspect all of the
receivers that we sell verifying that:
o they turn on
o the display works
o the GPS works
o the touch screen works
o we check the camera
o we check the USB port with ActiveSync
o we check the SD Card operation
o we install the latest versions of the software
o we preinstall and activate Mobile Mapping Today,
ArcPad and/or Mobile Mapping Field if purchased
We ship receivers directly
from our warehouse (they are not drop-shipped from a
distributor). We check every receiver to make sure they
work and we (not you) return defective receivers to the
factory.
These are complicated
receivers, there are a lot of things that can go wrong out
of the box. Wherever you purchase your MobileMapper 6, make
sure that it has been tested by the dealer, and that they
will replace it if there are problems. You don't want to
have to return a brand new receiver to the factory for
service!
