An inexpensive yet sensitive external GPS antenna for the MobileMapper 6 GPS receiver. Magnetic base, with 3-meter (9.85 feet) coax cable.

While the MM6 has a great internal antenna which is very sensitive, adding an external antenna for use in a vehicle will make a noticeable improvement in accuracy.

An external antenna will improve performance of the hand held under canopy and when hand held such that the receiver's view of the sky is blocked by your head or shoulders. (We place the external antenna on our ball cap so that we never block the GPS's view of SV's with our body.)
