The MobileMapper 10 continues
in the tradition of the MobileMapper Pro and MobileMapper 6 with
better accuracy, better connectivity (GPRS, Bluetooth, WiFi), larger
screen (3.5" Diagonal) and outstanding 20 hour battery life.
Language Note: The
MM10 is available with several Operating System languages , however
it is NOT POSSIBLE to change the language once a unit has shipped
from the factory. We (Igage) only stock English receivers, other
languages must be special ordered from the factory.
This language
restriction may not be a huge issue: it is possible to load
alternate language 'GNSS Toolbox' firmware and 'MobileMapper Field'
software. Once this is done, the primary interface is Mobile Mapper
Field whish will be the desired language.

the 2011 model of the MobileMapper 6. The MM10 has some great
improvements: great screen size, faster (600 vs 400 MHz), much
longer battery life (20 hours vs. 8 hours), better real-time
accuracy, recharge battery in device, more internal memory and a

rechargeable pack:

It is easy to
add additional memory to the MobileMapper 10 using the MicroSD card
slot under the battery. The SIM card slot for GSM activation is
under the battery also:

SiRFstarIII (see
CSR) based
GPS engine results in quick autonomous fixes, < 35 seconds. This
engine boasts 20 channel tracking and 200,000+ correlators for fast
TTFF and high-sensitivity acquisition under heavy canopy and in
urban environments. The MobileMapper 10 has an enhanced GPS antenna
and LNA front end which provides even better operation than the
MobileMapper 6 receiver.
Coupled with proprietary Ashtech's BLADETM Processing,
the MobileMapper 10 enjoys sub-meter accuracy in the USA with WAAS.
(Accuracy results other locales with alternate SBAS corrections are
different.)

can knowledgably support your application and equipment
questions. Our purchase price includes product support (expert
training is available at an additional charge).
We inspect all of the
receivers that we sell verifying that:
o they turn on
o the display works
o the GPS works
o the touch screen works
o we check the camera
o we check the USB port with ActiveSync
o we check the SD Card operation
o we install the latest versions of the software
o we preinstall and activate Mobile Mapping Today,
ArcPad and/or Mobile Mapping Field if purchased
We ship receivers directly
from our warehouse (they are not drop-shipped from a
distributor). We check every receiver to make sure they
work and we (not you) return defective receivers to the
factory.
These are complicated
receivers, there are a lot of things that can go wrong out
of the box. Wherever you purchase your MobileMapper 10, make
sure that it has been tested by the dealer, and that they
will replace it if there are problems. |
