The names of GPS manufacturers and all GPS Devices are trademarked by their respective owners.

NEMA Compatibility

All Topo Maps will 'Real Time Track' with any GPS device, with a serial port, capable of sending:

GPGGA, GPGLL, GPRMB or GPRMC

NEMA sentences.

GARMIN

October 2008: USB Support for Garmin Colorado, Dakota and Oregon included.

November 2009: BigTopo9 (which is compatible with Version 7 products) now exports KMZ files which place full resolution raster topo map images onto the Colorado, Dakota and Oregon receivers.

March 2006 Support added for all Garmin 'X' model GPS's

MAGELLAN

March 2006 Support added for Magellan Explorist GPS Models. 

The All Topo Maps GPS tool has been extensively tested with these Magellan receivers:

GPS 315, GPS 320, XL2000, XL4000, GPS Tracker

Cursory testing has also been performed on all newer devices  (Meridian, Sport Track) with serial ports. No problems have been encountered.

LSI / Eagle

The All Topo Maps GPS tool has been extensively tested with these LSI/Eagle receivers:

Eagle Explorer, GlobalNav 12, GlobalNav 212, GlobalNav 310, GlobalMap

The serial port on the iFinder does not support upload/download. The Version 7 Build 7345 and later directly read and write Lowrance USR files.

The All Topo Maps GPS tool has been extensively tested with this Brunton receiver:

The serial port on the Atlas GPS does not support upload/download. The Version 7 Build 7345 and later directly read and write Brunton USR files.
