Q0008 Garmin Etrex Legend C

Q:    My Garmin Etrex Legend Color C does not work with the All Topo GPSTool.

A:    The Legend only has a USB connector. You may need to upgrade your GPSTool to the version that supports the Garmin USB protocol. See http://www.alltopo.com/updates/ 

If you Legend GPS has firmware 2.00, you MUST upgrade the GPS firmware to 2.10 or higher (see www.garmin.com for replacement firmware and instructions.) There is a known issue with Version 2.00 firmware and USB transactions (Version 2.00 does not report extended protocol capabilities.)
